Community Outreach

Mission: To provide support to our community and local organizations that foster a positive impact on our county and its residents.

Vision: Get Involved with JCAR’s community outreach initiatives. We take pride in raising funds and gathering essential supplies for local organizations that rely on outside support. Beyond tangible donations, we provide the manpower needed to keep our community thriving. Our past projects included: Habitat for Humanity, Miracle League Softball field, Smithfield Rescue Mission, and the Boys and Girls Club.

Mission: This committee is a space for JCAR’s leaders to brainstorm, share expertise, and gain insights from informational experts. We use our professional success as a platform for good.  We work together to support our community through dedicated giving and outreach.  Get involved with a council of JCAR’s most accomplished professionals.

Objectives: A REALTOR® must apply to become a top producer annually by January 31st. The criteria is an annual production of at least 5M in gross sales or 25 transaction sides in the last calendar year.

Economic Development Committee

Mission: The Economic Development Committee (EDC) promotes and enhances sustainable “SMART Growth” across Johnston County. Our goal is to ensure JCAR members stay informed about the key local developments and economic shifts shaping our community.

Objective: Get involved with the EDC to help monitor planning boards, town meetings, and community briefings. By reporting these insights back to JCAR leadership, we provide members with comprehensive resource packets.  This will the membership current on the essential projects and progress within your market.

Mission: The GED Committee will equip REALTORS® with the cultural awareness and specialized tools needed to serve clients from every background. We use targeted education and training.  We ensure our members lead the way in multicultural real estate practices right here in Johnston County.

Objective: A real estate community where “global” is understood beyond international investment.  We want our REALTORS® to confidently support non-English speakers.  Respect cultural differences in the homebuying process.  Ensure every client feels informed, empowered, and welcomed when purchasing property in Johnston County.

Mission: To expand homeownership opportunities for families across Johnston County. Get involved to help us lead through impactful programs and advocacy that strengthen the real estate industry.
